Fees and Rebates

  • Standard Consultations (50 - 60 minutes) are billed at $224.
  • With a Mental Health Care Plan you will be $92.35 out- of-pocket.
  • Our fees remain below the Australian Psychological Society (APS) recommended fee of $280.

Medicare

  • With a Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP) from your GP you will be able to claim a Medicare Rebate of $131.65 per session for up to 20 sessions in a calendar year. This will leave you $92.65 out-of-pocket per session.
  • In order to access a Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP) speak with your GP.

Private Health Fund

  • If you are insured with a Private Health Fund and have Extras, you may be eligible for rebates for psychological therapy.
  • To determine your eligibility and the rebates to which you are entitle, call your fund.
  • Bring your health fund card with you and we can process your rebate with our HICAPs machine on the spot. You cannot obtain a health fund rebate AND a Medicare rebate for the same session.
